John doesn’t take vacation days. He takes Bruce days.

If John’s out of the office on personal business, chances are he’s doing something related to rock star Bruce Springsteen.

As proof of his unhealthy obsession, John is known to tailgate all afternoon before a Springsteen concert … leave on a whim and drive for two hours because there’s a chance Bruce MIGHT show up and play at a Jersey shore bar … and wander onto the lawn in front of Bruce’s house (but never violating the 200-yard restraining order placed against him).

To earn all the money needed to buy tickets, pay for gas and make bail, John serves as the agency’s Senior Copywriter — brainstorming ideas with designers, writing and editing copy, proofreading all final pieces, and trying to lighten Jan’s workload. He also handles radio and TV broadcast production.

Recently, however, Bruce has taken a backseat to a new “boss” in John’s life — his new daughter Olivia. He loves spending all his free time with Olivia — who is a music fan herself, enjoying the songs of Elmo, “Boof” (Bruce), and Evis (Elvis) — and his wife Maria, another big Springsteen fan.

John earned a degree in Advertising/Communications at Temple University of Philadelphia. He worked for a large agency in Philadelphia where he won a regional ADDY Award and two other agencies in the valley before joining Jangle in 2004.
